Republic of Srpska is one of two constitutive entities within the Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is autonomous in area ofeconomic development. In order to provide stronger support to development of business sector (in particular the SMEs, thataccount for 99,8% of all businesses in RS), RS has decided to apply for the membership in the EUNORS (EEN RS) willprovide SMEs with opportunities to explore their development and innovation potential in cooperation with partners fromother EEN countries. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)

Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.

Co-funding: the European Union contributes €20k toward a total project budget of €25k — a funding rate of 80%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 1.8 years from 2017-03-01 to 2018-12-31.
