Prudenta is an innovative, artificial intelligence-supported cloud-based solution that will enable pharmaceutical companies to automate local medical literature monitoring for drug safety signals (possible adverse reactions) and thus drastically improve the safety of drugs, as well as reduce the costs of drugs in the market. Safety signal searching is mandatory by law to all pharmaceutical companies and must be performed in each country, where the drug is traded. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
Co-funding: the European Union contributes €50k toward a total project budget of €71k — a funding rate of 70%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 0.5 years from 2018-08-01 to 2019-01-31.
