The Research and Innovation Centre on Advanced Industrial Production (RICAIP) unlocks the research and innovation capacity of CIIRC CTU and CEITEC BUT, by establishing a strong partnership with prominent German research organizations: DFKI and ZeMA, who jointly contribute to RICAIP by making their core facilities available and enable RICAIP to operate in a distributed way. RICAIP will be established at CIIRC CTU as an international centre operating fully in English. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
EU contribution: €15.0M awarded to the consortium. The project runs over approximately 6.5 years from 2019-09-01 to 2026-02-28.
