NextLand (Next Generation Land Management services for Agriculture and Forestry) aims to develop a set of 15 operational commercial midstream agriculture and forestry EO based services under a common service delivery platform, leveraging on GEOSS and Copernicus data and products and complemented by the assimilation of other very high resolution EO and in-situ data streams. This set of services will be co-designed together with downstream service providers, such as agronomy or forestry consultancy companies, and farmers and forest producers interface institutions, in the scope of 7 use cases. …
About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
