The main goal of SPRINGBOARD project is to strengthen research potential of the Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis (LIOS) through establishing long-lasting and sustainable collaboration network with the leading European research institutions – University of Antwerp, University of Copenhagen, University of Florence and University of Helsinki – in the area of advanced discovery and design of novel antibacterial drugs. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
