Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Bulgaria's main indicators increased by 45.9% compared to 2022, reaching 29.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 45.4%.

Bulgaria ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 32.9% (from 22.4% in 2018).
