A project to build and equip daily hospitals with internal medicine, surgery, urology, initial laryngology, ophthalmology, and the Departmental Directorate of OB Varaždin will contribute to increasing the cost-effectiveness and sustainability of the healthcare system in north-western Croatia with the aim of reducing the number of admissions to the acute hospital units by at least 10 %. Thematic Objective 9 finances social inclusion and the fight against poverty: integration of marginalised communities, social housing, anti-discrimination measures, deinstitutionalisation of care.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €5.6M toward a total project cost of €6.8M — a co-funding rate of 83%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
