Requalification of the Railway Canal Area (ReCaFE)
With the Requalification of the Canal Space it is intended to homogenise the image of the public space of the city, interconnecting the rehabilitation already carried out in its core, with the interventions to be carried out, in order to encourage the rehabilitation of the building inside the ARU – Coastal of the City, improve the urban environment, enhance new dynamics of economic and tourist development and strengthen urban attractiveness, including the establishment of population.
About the Environment and resource efficiency objective
Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €3.4M toward a total project cost of €4.0M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
