Wind Tower Experience Centre
A comprehensive tourist attraction, an experience centre Wind Tower, will be built in Käina all year round, which provides visitors with a family-friendly, exciting and educational entertainment and introduces Hiiumaa. The interactive exhibition and operating environment on six floors provides stories about Hiiumaa-inspiring nature and cultural heritage. The attraction helps to maintain Hiiumaa’s competitiveness in tourism and reduce seasonality, creates jobs and has a significant impact on the development of the service sector.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €1.9M toward a total project cost of €2.7M — a co-funding rate of 72%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
