Lithuania is among the highest risk countries for tuberculosis (TB). A large part of the population of Lithuania and the majority of patients in Kaunas county and Kaunas city with various types of TB are treated at the Romaine Tuberculosis Hospital of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (hereinafter — LSMU) Hospital in Kaunas Clinics.
