Improving the investment environment in Šiauliai Free Economic Zone and its access
The aim of the project is to improve the investment environment in Šiauliai FEZ and its access to it, in order to allow the employment of the population to increase in the target area. During the implementation of the project, it is planned to install missing engineering infrastructure and communication for pedestrians and cyclists in the territory of Šiauliai FEZ, to install loading and container storage sites and access to the railway infrastructure in the area of the FEZ. About the Social inclusion and fight against poverty objective
Thematic Objective 9 finances social inclusion and the fight against poverty: integration of marginalised communities, social housing, anti-discrimination measures, deinstitutionalisation of care.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €4.3M toward a total project cost of €5.1M — a co-funding rate of 84%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
