The implementation of the project envisages the rehabilitation of sections of the Republican road II-29 passing through the territory of Dobrich district. The road provides the shortest connection between the Republic of Romania and the resorts along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and connects the town of Dobrich with the town of Varna and from there to the whole country.
