Integrated water cycle project of the city of Vratsa — Phase II
The project is designed to manage the water cycle of the town of Vratsa and covers a water supply network, sewerage network and waste water treatment plant (WWTP). The integrated project is divided into two phases. The first phase was implemented in the programming period 2017-2013 of OPE. The second phase of the project provides for the complete completion of the reconstruction of the urban WSS network and the reconstruction of the WWTP Vratsa, as well as the full implementation of the rehabilitation of the steel and reconstruction of an existing asbestos-cement pipeline from a dam. Co-funding: the EU contributes €33.9M toward a total project cost of €44.1M — a co-funding rate of 77%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
