Modernisation of urban transport in the municipality of Vratsa
The aim of the project proposal is to improve ambient air quality in the Municipality of Vratsa by reducing the levels of fine particulate matter and nitrogen oxides as a result of the replacement and modernisation of the rolling stock of the public transport media. The implementation of the project will contribute to meeting the needs of the population, tourists and guests, companies and organisations in the municipality of Vratsa, for clean air, modern and environmentally friendly urban transport. About the Environment and resource efficiency objective
Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €11.3M toward a total project cost of €13.6M — a co-funding rate of 83%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
