Youth COMP 2016/2017

The purpose of UngKOMP is to expand cooperation between the PES (Public Employment Service) and municipalities and to influence each organizations methods for working with unemployed youth by way of multiskilled teams with personnel from both organizations. The project should both prevent and reduce long-term unemployment within the target group. UngKOMP is also an important platform for development in the PES's overall strategy for improvement to increase public trust in the organization and to increase its efficiency. About the Sustainable and quality employment objective

Thematic Objective 8 supports sustainable and quality employment — youth-employment initiatives, active labour-market policies, self-employment incentives, modernisation of public-employment services.

Co-funding: the EU contributes €12.4M toward a total project cost of €24.7M — a co-funding rate of 50%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
