Project Midstråket 2.0
The central route is of great importance from a regional, national and international perspective. The playing field for transporting people and goods in the central Nordic region is changing. Now the Meråker Line is being electrified on the Norwegian side, while a logistics park is being built in Sundsvall. In order to make use of the potential, work needs to continue on capacity-enhancing measures on the Mittbanan railway as well as further efforts that lead to increased accessibility and shorter travel times.
