Better efficiency for Industrial Sewage treatment
Industrial waste waters are a considerable challenge for municipal waste water treatment plants as they require special treatment and management. In this project, local water utilities, waste water treatment plants, industrial companies and permitting authorities elaborate and test guidelines and procedures for a more efficient management of industrial sewage. About the Environment and resource efficiency objective
Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.7M toward a total project cost of €3.4M — a co-funding rate of 80%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
