Europe’s seas have become important in terms of policy making on both European and national level. The exploitation of seas and coastal areas for economic purposes is becoming increasingly important, but there are also growing concerns on environmental issues. Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) is an increasingly important field of policy aiming at reconciling different demands on the marine space. Thematic Objective 11 supports more efficient public administration — capacity building of public bodies, anti-corruption measures, judicial-reform support, e-administration.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €225k toward a total project cost of €275k — a co-funding rate of 82%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
