The goal of the project is to support smart, sustainable and inclusive growth of the bioeconomy in rural areas of the Baltic Sea region. RDI2CluB aims to help innovation actors apply EU smart specialisation approaches to their specific field and region. About the Research, technological development and innovation objective

Thematic Objective 1 of the 2014–2020 Cohesion period funds research, technological development and innovation. It supports R&D infrastructure, technology transfer, business-academia partnerships and pilot lines that close the gap between scientific discovery and market application across EU regions.

Co-funding: the EU contributes €1.5M toward a total project cost of €2.7M — a co-funding rate of 57%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.

Kohesio is the European Commission's open-data platform for projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, the Cohesion Fund and the Just Transition Fund.
