Pyro One and GTG Holding receive € 2.000.000 subsidy from the JTF for the Circular Carbon Black project: New raw materials from old car tires. The parties have developed a technology to recycle old car tyres with pyrolysis and to recover the substance carbon black and pyrolysis oil to bring back into the process as a raw material. Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.0M toward a total project cost of €4.7M — a co-funding rate of 42%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
