Venture capital Eastern Central Sweden 2021-2027
The project's mission is to implement financial instruments with co-financing from the Regional Fund to increase the regional supply of venture capital (ownership capital) to SMEs in early stages of development in the NUTS 2 region Östra Mellansverige and which have potential for growth, with the overall objective of strengthening regional competitiveness, creating new jobs and otherwise contributing to economic growth.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €5.5M toward a total project cost of €13.8M — a co-funding rate of 40%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
Kohesio is the European Commission's open-data platform for projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, the Cohesion Fund and the Just Transition Fund.
