Construction of the Sauga-Pärnu section of state road no. 4 Tallinn-Pärnu-Ikla
The Sauga-Pärnu section of state road No 4 Tallinn-Pärnu-Ikla (Via Baltica) will be built as a 2+2 road, including a breakthrough on Tuisu Street. This is an urban section. The Jänesselja roundabout will be built as a turboring roundabout. A bicycle and footpath tunnel will be built in Sauga village. 4 traffic-controlled junctions, connections and cycle and pedestrian tracks will be built. Road signs with variable information shall be installed.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €15.9M toward a total project cost of €18.7M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
