Restoration of bog ecosystems in SACs
The aim of the project is to promote the restoration of habitats of European Union importance or the renaturalisation of historical peat extraction sites in specially protected nature territories, the promotion of biodiversity and the provision of ecosystem services. The project activities focus on restoration of bogs and related ecosystems with an area of at least 1500 hectares on national lands located in Special Areas of Conservation (SACs) in areas significantly affected by drainage and drainage.
