Educational routes in Bulgaria
Project is focused on creating educational routes that take students beyond the traditional classroom. By visiting cultural, historical, and natural sites, children apply their knowledge from different subjects in real-life settings while developing teamwork, critical thinking, and active citizenship skills. The initiative combines knowledge, experience, and socialization. Students learn through exploration, discussions, and small projects that link theory with practice and foster a sense of belonging to Bulgaria’s cultural and natural heritage.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €22.0M toward a total project cost of €26.8M — a co-funding rate of 82%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
