Modernization of traction substation Boychinovtsi
The project proposal is part of the activities along the railway direction Vidin - Sofia - Kulata, part of the European Transport Corridor (ETC) "Baltic Sea — Black Sea — Aegean Sea". Boychinovtsi traction substation is located on the railway line between Vidin and Sofia. The main objective of the project is to ensure seamless accessibility and connectivity of the Bulgarian railway section of the ETC "Baltic Sea — Black Sea — Aegean Sea", by reducing the gaps in the quality of the infrastructure for rail freight and long-distance passenger traffic.
