Strengthening the Response Capacity of the National Health System (SNS) in the Algarve region for the Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment and Care of Cancer Patients
The operation aims to requalify and strengthen the skills of the National Health Service in the cancer area, in response to inequalities between regions in access to cancer prevention, treatment and care. The proposed investments in the area of Oncological Disease aim to provide a health service with higher quality and efficiency, with the capacity to provide a growth of quality in public health care.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €10.2M toward a total project cost of €17.1M — a co-funding rate of 60%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
