4a engineering GmbH invests in the development of a test infrastructure for battery cells and lightweight materials, as well as in the development of production capacities for newly developed innovative test systems. 4activeSystems GmbH invests in the development infrastructure for active vehicle safety and automated driving functions and 4a manufacturing GmbH in the development infrastructure for multi-layer composites to improve digital data transmission and communication as well as lightweight construction applications.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.3M toward a total project cost of €12.9M — a co-funding rate of 18%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
