Construction of a rainwater sewerage network and a reservoir for rainwater in Pruszcz Gdański district by Tora – stage I

The aim of the project is to reduce the effects of extreme meteorological phenomena, in particular heavy rain, by adapting the city of Pruszcz Gdański to climate change, by increasing the possibility of rainwater retention and building a rainwater network. The material scope of the Project includes: construction works (rain sewer network, retention tank, other elements of tank equipment, technical road, construction of ditch No.1), purchase of information and promotion boards, investor supervision, development of Urban Climate Change Adaptation Plan, Project management, reserve.

Thematic Objective 5 supports climate-change adaptation and risk prevention: flood defences, wildfire prevention, drought-management infrastructure, civil-protection systems, and ecosystem-based adaptation.

Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.4M toward a total project cost of €2.8M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
