The number and intensity of disasters caused by climate change increase the impact of natural disasters caused by climate change on population, health, property and the environment. About the Climate change adaptation, risk prevention objective

Thematic Objective 5 supports climate-change adaptation and risk prevention: flood defences, wildfire prevention, drought-management infrastructure, civil-protection systems, and ecosystem-based adaptation.

Co-funding: the EU contributes €20.7M toward a total project cost of €24.4M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
