The task is the result of work initiated in 2015 by the Local Government of the Wars. Dolnośląskie, Municipality of Wrocław, Municipality of Siechnice with the participation of representatives of the RZGW in Wrocław aimed at taking measures to organise the management of rainwater at the intersection of both municipalities in the catchment area of the river Oława. About the Climate change adaptation, risk prevention objective
Thematic Objective 5 supports climate-change adaptation and risk prevention: flood defences, wildfire prevention, drought-management infrastructure, civil-protection systems, and ecosystem-based adaptation.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €1.8M toward a total project cost of €2.1M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
