The project is designed in response to the need to upgrade and enhance the institutional capacity of the Agency for Social Assistance (ASA) for the realisation of its public role in the field of social assistance, social services and child protection, creating the conditions to implement in practice new approaches to planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and controlling the system of social services and social assistance. Thematic Objective 9 finances social inclusion and the fight against poverty: integration of marginalised communities, social housing, anti-discrimination measures, deinstitutionalisation of care.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €12.8M toward a total project cost of €15.0M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
