Saline Farming - Innovative agriculture to protect the environment and stimulate economic growth
Resource consumption and carbon emissions are major drivers of climate change. In order to reduce these, we have to look for alternative ways of production in agriculture, alongside other large economic players. About the Environment and resource efficiency objective
Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.8M toward a total project cost of €6.1M — a co-funding rate of 45%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
