The Sustainable Gateways (SG) project develops small boat harbors located in national parks and nature reserves in the Finnish (4 harbors) and Swedish (3 harbors) outer archipelagoes. With the project´s support, these harbors become sustainable and attractive gateways for boaters - destinations, that are well-managed and offer services of good quality. About the Sustainable transport and network infrastructure objective

Thematic Objective 7 funds sustainable transport and network infrastructure: TEN-T core-network completion, rail electrification, urban mobility, ports and inland-waterway upgrades.

Co-funding: the EU contributes €1.3M toward a total project cost of €1.7M — a co-funding rate of 75%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
