The aim of the project “Dehydration of the City of Łódź” is to increase the amount of water retained, improve the quality of rainwaters and improve the efficiency of rain and melt water management in Łódź. About the Climate change adaptation, risk prevention objective
Thematic Objective 5 supports climate-change adaptation and risk prevention: flood defences, wildfire prevention, drought-management infrastructure, civil-protection systems, and ecosystem-based adaptation.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €9.2M toward a total project cost of €10.9M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
