The purpose of the investment task is to implement modernisation, construction and reconstruction of the existing system of rainwater drainage in order to adapt the rainwater drainage network to climate change in Bydgoszcz. About the Climate change adaptation, risk prevention objective
Thematic Objective 5 supports climate-change adaptation and risk prevention: flood defences, wildfire prevention, drought-management infrastructure, civil-protection systems, and ecosystem-based adaptation.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €34.4M toward a total project cost of €40.5M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
