Information technology infrastructure for the benefit of business and society: Investments and applications

The goal of the project is partly to expand the information technology infrastructure in and between the municipalities and its locations in the region for increased accessibility and security, partly to build an infrastructure primarily to the small and medium-sized enterprises, but also to authorities and organisations to stimulate an increased connection to broadband. About the Information and communication technologies objective

Thematic Objective 2 finances information and communication technologies — broadband roll-out, e-government, e-health, digital skills and the digitisation of public services. It targets the digital divide between EU regions in the 2014–2020 period.
