Energy wood terminal in Kuusamo bio and circular economy park
The aim of Town of Kuusamo is to invest in a new industrial area, Kuusamo bio and circular economy park, which aims to develop circular economy, increase the added value of wood and sustainable forestry, as well as investments in accordance with the strategy of the Town of Kuusamo. Currently wastewater treatment plant (built in 2021) is situated in the area and a new road connection from highway 20 is being built to the area.
