By developing and reconstructing the elements of the existing water supply and drainage system, as well as by establishing new water replacement routes, the achievement of good status and good ecological status, the enhancement of biodiversity and the elimination of degraded states are the objectives to be achieved. About the Climate change adaptation, risk prevention objective
Thematic Objective 5 supports climate-change adaptation and risk prevention: flood defences, wildfire prevention, drought-management infrastructure, civil-protection systems, and ecosystem-based adaptation.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €14.5M toward a total project cost of €17.0M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
