The need to build a Tassi multifunctional drainage plant is justified by the need to keep water quality, quantity and ecological risks as low as possible. Thematic Objective 5 supports climate-change adaptation and risk prevention: flood defences, wildfire prevention, drought-management infrastructure, civil-protection systems, and ecosystem-based adaptation.
