This project addresses the common challenge of navigational safety and quality of the transboundary marine environment. The project's overall objective is to reduce the risks associated with navigation accidents and their consequences on human life, goods and the environment. It will achieve its goals by creating a coordinated system of governance tools, highly technologically innovative surveillance methods and new safety services at sea. About the Climate change adaptation, risk prevention objective
Thematic Objective 5 supports climate-change adaptation and risk prevention: flood defences, wildfire prevention, drought-management infrastructure, civil-protection systems, and ecosystem-based adaptation.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €5.7M toward a total project cost of €6.7M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
