Optimisation of systems, services and strengthening of intervention capacities of the Mountain Rescue Service
The main objective of the project with the place of implementation “House of HZS Liptovský Hrádok”, by increasing the level of quality and efficiency of the education system, is to streamline, accelerate and ensure timely and targeted intervention, rescue and search operations in the event of sudden crisis situations caused by climate change, so as to ultimately increase the efficiency of the management of emergencies affected by climate change. About the Climate change adaptation, risk prevention objective
Thematic Objective 5 supports climate-change adaptation and risk prevention: flood defences, wildfire prevention, drought-management infrastructure, civil-protection systems, and ecosystem-based adaptation.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €4.7M toward a total project cost of €5.5M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
